"Phase I construction is nearing completion," said Colonel Carl Thompson, Communications Director for Camp Minden. "We are currently awaiting Fire Marshal approval. The ribbon cutting for Phase I date is in the process of being finalized but not officially locked down as of today. It will probably be in late August or early September."
