Pesses leads new look Warriors

SIBLEY – Joey Pesses was named head football coach at Lakeside in June, and has been spending all of his time trying to rebuild the Warriors' football program. He's been working with the kids since then, and now is beginning to see some rewards for all the hard work.

"It's coming together," Pesses said. "Our numbers are between 20 and 25 right now, and the kids are really working hard. We've had a solid core of about 17 that have been here just about every day since June, but we've had a few more show up lately. I think the closer it gets to school starting, the more we'll have."
