School audits will target missing funds

Money has been reported missing from an unidentified account at an unnamed school, and Webster Parish School Board members will have to wait until September for an investigative report to be completed before more details can be forthcoming.

Superintendent Dr. Dan Rawls said Monday during a special called school board meeting that law enforcement authorities had brought information of missing funds to his attention. He did not reveal which school had reported missing funds.
