The "snaky days" of summer are upon us and the cold-blooded reptiles are already slithering their way above ground.
According to an online source, a Timber rattler such as the one found by Ward Marshal Randy Schelley (see photo at left) can grow to more than six feet in length and is one of the "most potentially poisonous snakes in North America due to its long fangs, impressive size and high venom yield."
