The Glenbrook Apaches improved to 16-4 overall and 9-1 in district play with a 10-0 blanking of Central School on Tuesday.
Spencer White took the win for the Apaches as he held Central scoreless and hitless over the first three innings. He struck out six batters.
Braden Dickson came on in relief and allowed just two hits over the final three innings. He also struck out six batters.
"I thought both of our pitchers did a good job of location their pitches around the plate," Glenbrook coach Jonathan Hardy said. "They did a good job of throwing strikes and getting people out."
Caleb Wilson led the offense with a two-run double, and Logan Clark and Cameron Matthews each had a base hit and two RBIs. Connor Copeland had a RBI-single and Heath Lovett doubled. Sutton Jones and Colt Wilson also had base hits.
Saturday, the Apaches will play a pair of games at Prairie View Academy in Bastrop. Junior varsity will play at 2 p.m. with the varsity to follow.
