Local writer to hold book signing

writerNorth Webster Parish native, Lawrence C. Williams, otherwise known as "Lonnie", released the second edition of his novel in 2012 and will be at Walmart in Springhill on March 16 for a book signing.
Williams released the first edition of his book, How To Move From Dirt Poor To Middle Class, in 1985.
Williams was born at home in 1947 to L.C. Williams and Lelar Williams in Cullen.
He graduated from Charles Brown High in 1965, which was the all black high school during that time.
The author states his objective of his book is to “show that a person whether black or white does not have to sell drugs to drive a fancy car, and if you feel this book is not for you then it must just be the thing that your grandson or granddaughter needs to read.”
