Sam Dupree is out catching the Hill Country gators

Whatever you do, don't holler "Choot 'em...Choot 'em" the next time you see Sam Dupree. The consequences could be messy.

Dupree was one of five alligator hunters selected by lottery to set lines for gators in his home waters, Black Lake in Natchitoches Parish.

"I found out you could apply for tags on-line and after seeing that Black Lake was one of the public lakes where those chosen could set out lines, I gave it a shot and learned I'd been selected. You're limited to two tags and can only set out four lines," Dupree said.
