Homer proves to be too much for Lakeside

HOMER — The Lakeside Warriors hoped to get their first district win Friday night at Homer, but the Pelicans proved to be too much for the Warriors and Lakeside lost 45-12.

Lakeside is now 3-5 on the season, 0-3 in district.

“We played better than we did last week,” Lakeside head coach Terrence Quarles said. “But we just made too many mistakes. Homer is a very talented team, and they just took advantage of our mistakes and made thing happen for them.”
