Much of northern and central Webster Parish awakened to a wintry mix of snow and freezing drizzle this morning, but by 8 a.m. not much was sticking or causing road problems.
"I'd say we dodged a bullet," City of Minden Public Works Director George Rolfe said. "We don't even need any sanding (on roads) at this point. The pavement is warm and nothing's freezing. Now that may change."
