A Louisiana filmmaker has returned to his Minden law enforcement roots, acting in and producing "Rook" – a crime drama largely shot near Minden.

Scott Yarnell described the film, written by Duane Craig and directed by Jeremy Enis, as a psychological thriller with a spiritual twist.
