Fleming speaks out on the State of the Union address

The morning after President Obama's State of the Union address, Congressman John Fleming took part in a hearing with top military officials to discuss the looming prospect of sequestration and the drastic cuts it will entail for American Armed Forces.

Stepping out of the meeting for an interview with the Press-Herald, Fleming said he disagreed with many points in the president's speech, but what troubled him the most was the glossing over of the automatic cuts to military and social programs that will occur if a deal is not reached by March 1.
