Lady Panthers wins State Championship

BATON ROUGE — The Doyline Lady Panthers scored a come from behind win to take the LHSAA Class B State Track & Field Championship on the campus of LSU in Baton Rouge on Thursday.

Bell City led Doyline by just four points and Sacred Heart-Grand Coteau by seven through 13 events, but when Shanelle Allen won the 300 hurdles (49.05), Doyline pulled within one point of Bell City.
