A look at this week’s high school basketball games

The Webster Parish basketball teams are facing the crunch time as they continue their district schedules.

Most of the schools are in the thick of the district races, and this week will provide more opportunities for those schools to either make up or lose ground.

Minden High

The Minden Crimson Tide are back in a virtual tie with Huntington after beating Benton on Friday night, and Huntington losing to Northwood.

And this week the Tide, and Lady Tiders, will get to play those two schools.

Tonight, Minden will travel to Shreveport for a pair of varsity games with Northwood. Friday night, Minden will host Huntington in a pair of key District 1-4A games.

The Lakeside teams will be the only Webster Parish teams playing at home tonight, as they will host Sterlington High School.

Friday, the Warriors and Lady Warriors will travel to Lake Providence.

The Glenbrook Apaches and Lady Apaches will travel to Grand Cane for a pair of games with Central School.

Friday night, the Apaches and Lady Apaches will return to the Minden Rec Complex for a pair of important district games with Cenla Christian Academy.

The Panthers and Lady Panthers will play a pair of road games this week.

Tonight, the teams will head to Quitman to take on Quitman High School in a pair of district games, and Friday they head to Weston High School.

North Webster

The North Webster Knights and Lady Knights will travel to Mansfield tonight for a pair of district games.

Friday night, the teams will host the district teams from Calvary Baptist.
