Luke 17:14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed
During life it's common that we encounter obstacles (Ps 34:19). Obstacles that we soon learn to be devices that stretch and develop us into who God desires us to be. In order to get orange juice out of an orange, it has to be squeezed. And in order to get oil out of an olive, it has to be crushed. But what comes forth is far greater than the experience it took to produce.
In order for your faith to be completely tested and produced, life will often cause for some squeezing and crushing moments. Moments in which what is on the inside of you, is birth through the process. Greatness is brought forth through crushing experiences. Experiences are like a classroom, in which, there is something that you will gain in order for you to be more effective on the next level.
In Luke 17, we note ten men. Men in which had the issue of leprosy. An issue that was very demeaning and looked down upon by others. But in the Bible we notice that Jesus pays no attention to their leprosy, yet he sees their faith (Luke 17:14). These Lepers had so much faith in God, that before they saw immediate healing, they were on their way to the priests. The knowledge empowerment moment is that, you could not show yourself to the priests, unless you were sure you were healed. So their faith in Jesus' Word saw beyond the natural and into the supernatural.
Through all the things that you experience, let your faith arise to the occasion as the faith of the lepers did. What mattered most was not their issue, Leprosy. What mattered most was not even their years of suffering. What mattered most was their faith. For it is faith that honors God (Hebrews 11:6). Your faith matters. Stay in faith though you are squeezed and crushed in the process.
