Twenty five years after the Chicago Cubs installed lights at Wrigley Field, the Glenbrook Apaches did the same to their baseball field. And to break in Apache Stadium under the lights, the Apaches invited a number of former players to face the current team in a Apaches/Alumni Game.
"This is something we hope that becomes a tradition," Apache coach Jonathan Hardy said. "It was the first game under the lights for our current team, and it gave some of our former players a chance to do the same. And it was some good competition for our team, they got to play against some of the players they grew up watching."Subscribe to Read!
