Allie Marie Cheatham, 91, of Bossier City and formerly of Springhill passed away Jan. 25, 2013 in Bossier City. She was born July 17, 1921 in Athens to the late Peyton and Sallie White. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Springhill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest; her son, Kenneth Cheatham; seven brothers, Prentice, Ernest, Johnny, Audrey, Grady, Graton and Gaddis White; and one sister, Ruby Pettigrew.
She is survived by her son, James and wife, Doris; daughter, Barbara Logan and husband, David; and her grandchildren, Angela Charles, Sherry Baxter, Rhonda Strong and Alicia Earley.
She is also survived by her five great-granddaughters, Kassi, Chelsea, Ashley, Sarah and Kendall; and two great-grandsons, Shelby and Cody; three great-great-granddaughters, Kyndal, Shani and Lani; and one great-great-grandson, Hayden.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Riverview Care Center for the care and compassion given Mrs. Cheatham. Special thanks to Bobbie Campbell for her love and companionship over the years.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Minden Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Officiating was Rev. Garth Collier.
