The Lakeside Warriors kicked off the Minden High Invitational Tournament with a 9-7 win over Natchitoches-Central Thursday afternoon.
Josh Prince got his first win of the season, as he pitched two innings in relief. Cameron Corely came on and pitched the final inning for the save.
The Warriors banged out nine hits as they moved their season record to 1-3.
Thomas Lambert went two-for-two to lead the Warriors, and Payton Johnson and Jake Gray both went two-for-four.
Luke Griffith, Coulson White and Prince all added base hits.
The Warriors will play again this afternoon, as they take on North DeSoto at 4 p.m.
The tournament will continue today and run through Saturday.
