How to Do All Things

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me is what Philippians 4:13 says. We are to do everything in Jesus. We are to do everything in the name of Jesus according to Colossians 3:17 which says And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. Everything a Christian does should be done in Jesus' Name.

Everything should also be done with prayer. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  Philippians 4:6 tells us this.  Prayer is how we get to know the Spirit of God, the heartbeat of God.

Jesus even told us that some things only happen by prayer and fasting. God still answers prayers. God even told us how to pray. He said to pray in the name of Jesus. We are told to repent in the name of Jesus in Luke 24:47-49. We are told to have our sins remitted in the name of Jesus. Jesus was God in the flesh. So, in the flesh, God's name was revealed as Jesus.

God tells us several times to humble ourselves and pray in the scriptures. God tells us to call on His Name. God revealed His name to us. His name is Jesus. God is the Christ. God is called our Savior and Redeemer... Jesus was the savior and redeemer. The saving name is Jesus.

Prayer changes things and must be part of a Christian's daily walk. Prayer is how we die daily to sin. Prayer is how we exercise faith. Prayer is how we see miracles. Prayer can turn a bad nation around. Prayer changes things.

When we pray, we must remember to first of all do it in the name of Jesus. We must also repent. Next, we have to remember to praise God. Then, we must ask for God's will to be done. We are to ask for God's will, not ours. We are to ask for our needs and others needs next. We should also close our prayers with praise again and close them in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the ONLY name we are told to pray in. It is ONE NAME!

We can do all things through Christ that strengthens us. The Spirit of God, which is also the Spirit of Christ since Christ is God, is what gives us power. Prayer strengthens us spiritually. PRAY!
