A surprise announcement was made Thursday at Webster Jr. High School (WJH) when a teacher was awarded an Abraham Lincoln Fellowship from Horace Mann Educators Corporation.
“Christopher Jackson was the sole teacher from Louisiana to be recognized for this award,” WJH principal Elena Black said. “We want to celebrate with him and show him how proud we are of his achievement.”
