Three Minden Police Officers have new ranks following promotion approvals from the Minden City Council on Monday.
With only District A councilman Joe Cornelius absent, council members voted unanimously to promote Ofc. Tokia Whiting to the rank of sergeant and officers Chase Wimberly and Shawn Jenkins to Officers First Class.
