Ronald David Winston was born Oct. 18, 1950 to the late P.D. and Addie Key Winston. He was the second of six children born to this parentage. He grew up in a loving, Christian home. Being the son of a military man, he lived in various places including Aberdeen, Maryland, Warner Robins, Georgia, Frankfurt, Germany, and Key West, Florida.
