Church, lodge settle dispute

Agreement includes payment by church, vacation by lodge

Evergreen Union Church will have the rights to 1.2 acres of property after a heated court case was settled in Honorable Judge Ford Stinston's courtroom Thursday.

A judgment was issued in favor of the church after they proposed a settlement to the Dorcheat Masonic Lodge, in which both parties agreed to the terms.

Stinson said he was at a loss for words on how to describe the case.
