Museum gala to be held Monday

Once a year for the past six years, the Dorcheat Historical Museum holds a gala event that raises funds to keep local history front and center for generations to come.

At 6 p.m., Monday, September 8, doors at the museum will open for that important event, and museum director Schelley Brown Francis wants people to know that if they don't have an invitation, they can still show up and support history.
