Sixteen law enforcement officers from five different law enforcement agencies graduated November 16 from the North Louisiana Criminal Justice Academy in a ceremony at the academy in Plain Dealing.
The class included two Minden Police officers and four Webster Parish deputies.
The MPD officers are Benjamin W. Gray and Jonathan F. Odom and deputies include Ricky A. Corke, John M. Merritt, Jeremy A. Nehls and Ray E. Reeves, Jr.
NLCJA Class 008 successfully completed their Peace Officer Standards and Training hosted by the Bossier Sheriff's Department to become fully-certified law enforcement officers.
Throughout their time at the North Louisiana Criminal Justice Academy, these men and women have displayed excellence and determination in their classroom work, defensive tactics exercises, firearms training, and physical fitness training.
The graduation will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the academy headquarters located at 2981 Old Plain Dealing Road.
