Minden Police and the U.S. Marshal's Service have made two arrests, possibly ending a rash of vehicle burglaries that struck neighborhoods where two public officials live.
Shawn O'Rear, 34 and Daniel Eugene Smith, 37, both of the 200 block of McDonald Street, Minden, have been charged with 12 counts of vehicle burglary and two counts of aggravated burglary.
