Police lieutenant climbs to captain

Police lieutenant climbs to captain

Long-time Minden Police officer Dan Weaver has been promoted from rank of lieutenant to that of captain, following a unanimous vote of the Minden City Council Monday.

"Lt. Weaver is very dedicated and loyal and strives to make the police department as good as it can be," said Chief Steve Cropper. "He is very worthy of this promotion."
