City of Minden in the black Sunday morning

Main Entergy feed goes out; power restored within an hour

The entire city of Minden was in the dark for about an hour Sunday morning, but church services continued and restaurants were serving Sunday lunch well before the noon hour.

The City of Minden's power comes from AEP SWEPCO, but it feeds through an Entergy substation in Gilark, according to Rolfe.
