NFA paves  way for rural road funding

Thanks to the Nonfederal Aid (NFA) funding act, secondary roads in Louisiana are getting a facelift.

The NFA bill was passed last year to repair secondary roads without the need for federal aid.

"The Rural Caucus was able to lobby and get the bill passed," said Rep. Gene Reynolds, D-Minden.
