School board members looking at ways to be more efficient

Webster Parish School Board President Charles Strong doesn't think being in a comfort zone is all bad, but he doesn't want comfort to be translated into a rut.

"Without intending to do so, organizations tend to not so much get in a rut, but to grow comfortable with the status quo and deal with matters of the moment," Strong said.

"Sometimes, that can lead to a failure to take advantage of opportunities to be more efficient; to be more professional."
