New police officer on council agenda

If members of the Minden City Council agree, the police department will welcome a new full-time officer Monday night.

On the recommendation of the city personnel committee, Tina Hawkins Douglas is on the agenda to become the newest member of the force.

Douglas is currently a part-time dispatcher in the police department.
