Singing in the season

Community chorus presents Christmas music

Nothing says Christmas quite like music, and the Minden Community Chorus will help kick off the Holiday Trail of Lights event with the songs of the season.

The annual Candlelight Christmas Concert will be presented Tuesday, December 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of St. Rest Baptist Church, 611 East Union Street in Minden.

"The wide variety of choral repertoire for the concert will consist of newly-composed original choral selections, as well as innovative choral arrangements of familiar beloved carols of the season," said director Dr. Dan Gibbs. "Accompanying our group will be pianist Claudia Goodwin and various guest instrumentalists.
