City faces reapportionment

Residents are invited to attend a public hearing Monday where they will learn how their districts within the city limits may be reapportioned.

Minden Mayor Bill Robertson said demographer Doug Mitchell has shifted all district lines, but the new boundaries – which must be approved by the council – will show no dramatic changes.

"It's real straight-forward," Robertson said of the plan. "I see no problems in what's been proposed."
