The Glenbrook Apaches kicked-off their 2011 season with a 26-14 win over Riverdale on Friday. A win is a win, but Apache head coach Ryan Porter wasn't completely happy with his team's win.
"I thought it was a very sloppy game overall," he said. "We definitely did not play at the same level as we did in the jamboree. We didn't play our best football. I told the kids that a bad win is better than a good loss. It's a lot easier to build for week two coming off a win, but we have a lot of things to improve on."
