Local girl Rachel McDonald will show off her artwork for the first time in Minden this week, proving that it's okay to let kids draw on the walls sometimes.
"I don't know how long I have been doing art," McDonald said. "But I remember drawing on the walls when I was little."
McDonald's work is based on the world around her, both artificial and natural.
