The Glenbrook Apaches used a big second half scoring burst to defeat Columbia Christian in Monday night action at the Minden Rec. Center.
Glenbrook trailed by two points at the half, 29-27. That's when the fireworks started offensively as the Apaches churned out 24 third-quarter points and 31 fourth-quarter points to pace themselves to an 82-59 rout of the visitors.
"We started running the court and when you do that the magic happens," coach Todd Spurlock said.
Jalen Paterson was the high man for Glenbrook with 30 points and five rebounds. Cade Spurlock had 24 points, five rebounds and two blocks.
Maurice Moore wasn't the leading scorer, but he may have had the most impact as he put up 22 points to go along with 22 rebounds, seven assists and six blocked shots.
