Knights to play Wolverines

SPRINGHILL —The North Webster Knights will celebrate their Homecoming with a game against the Mansfield Wolverines.

The Knights' three game winning streak was broken last week in their loss to Calvary, but the team would like to start a new one.

Mansfield started the season 1-2 but since then has reeled off three straight wins.

They beat Arcadia, 47-0, Richwood, 32-28, and then beat North Caddo, 41-27, last week.

The Wolverines' offense has been scoring at a pretty good pace lately, but the Knights' defense has played well this season, allowing just over a touchdown a game during their three-game winning streak.

Offensively, quarterback J.O. Smith has led the North Webster rushing attack almost flawlessly this season.

On the year Smith has rushed for 699 yards and eight touchdowns. Lyntravious Gipson has 278 yards and two scores and Ryan Hawthorne has added another 265 yards and three touchdowns.
