How to Stay Out of Hell

Hell, it is a place of eternal punishment that the scriptures tell us will include weeping and the gnashing of teeth. Hell is the place where Satan is.Satanl was at one time in heaven with God and was even the head angel. But, he tried to exalt himself above God. We need to take this passage into our study... How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds' I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell. to the sides of the pit. Isaiah 14:12-15

The devil was sent to hell for trying to exalt himself above God and by wanting to be like God in power and in being on the throne. Satan, or Lucifer, and 1/3 of the angels were cast into hell. These fallen angels are called demons. Satan is also called the prince of the air At one point during the Tribulation, Satan will indwell the Anti-Christ here on earth.

Matthew 13:42 says there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth in hell. I know there will be wailing! I was praying and God let me hear lost souls in a place he called me to go to as a missionary one day crying out! Horrible!

God is everywhere. I believe the worst part will be that God will be there since he is all present, but you will not be able to talk to God or feel God. Being isolated from God forever would be torture and knowing that you will be burning forever in punishment. We know hell is hot because of the story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16.

Hell is the worst torture there is. How do we stay out? The only way to stay out is to be saved. The Bible says in Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned.

. John 3:14-18 says And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world not condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned, but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

We must believe on the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 says that it is the ONLY name by which we can be saved. Mark 16:16 says that to be saved, one must believe and be baptized. The Bible speaks of two baptisms, Water Baptism and the Spirit Baptism. I believe water baptism is being born of the water as mentioned in John 3:5. Water baptism must be done according to Acts 2:38, in the name of Jesus. 1 Peter 3:21 says baptism is part of the process. We must also have the Spirit of God, or according to Romans 8:9, we are not Christ's. Hell is horrible, please do what the Bible commands to stay out of it.
