Tuesday, April 19 was truly an outstanding day for Webster Parish Tourism.
I am thrilled that at the quarterly meeting held that Tuesday morning, the commission voted to provide funds, up to $15,000, for the construction of additional restroom facilities at the visitor center to be built at the Germantown Colony Museum and that Chesapeake Energy donated the additional $5,000 that afternoon guaranteeing the total $20,000 additional money required by the Louisiana Office of Facility Planning to release the construction project for bids.
