Frederick Corbitt

Funeral services for Frederick Corbitt will be held Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 at 10 a.m. at West Lake Baptist Church in Doyline. Officiating will be the Rev. Jerry Elgin. Interment will follow at West Lake Cemetery in Doyline. The family will receive friends Friday, Sept. 23, 2011 from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.

Frederick was born March 13, 1932 in Cogdelle, Georgia and entered into rest Sept. 20, 2011 in Benton. He was retired from the United States Air Force and a retired supervisor with Evergreen Presbyterian Vocational School.

His wife, Beverly A. Corbitt; father, Joe Corbitt; mother, Stella Corbitt; brother, Clyde Corbitt; and sisters, Cletis Riddle and Betty Joyce Sloan preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons, Fred Corbitt and wife, Marie, Joe Corbitt and wife, Susan and Tracy Corbitt and wife, Jodi; daughters, Patty Yorba and husband, Randy and Carol Sanders and husband, Blue; sister, Bertie Smith; brother, Benny Joe Corbitt; grandchildren, Trisha Halcumb, Joey Corbitt, Sharon Corbitt, Brian Corbitt, Keith Taylor, Crystal Mathews, Jerry Vize, Terry Vize, Ray Vize, Chantel Sanders, Dusty Sanders, Dustin Sanders, Gary Wayne Sanders, Sarah Brown, Brad Brown, Jason Brown and Steven Brown, and 21 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lang Mathews, Keith Taylor, Terry Vize, Jerry Vize, Ray Vize, Noah Stone and Cory Pickett
