Council passes 2014-15 budget
Members of the Minden City Council gave a unanimous nod to a 2014-15 fiscal year budget that topped out at $30.3 million.
 
“Through sound management, the city is in sound, fiscal shape,” Minden Mayor Tommy Davis said during Tuesday’s council meeting. “The rising cost of daily operations to maintain the existing high service levels in each department has challenged city administration during these tough economic times.”
