School times stand

Citing concern that little could be solved by staggering school times, Webster Parish School Board officials decided Friday to keep the original schedule for start-and-end times for schools.

"Supervisors Buster Flowers, Morris Busby and Kevin Washington met with all Minden principals (Friday) morning to discuss continued concerns about the start and end times for the schools as well as bus issues," said Interim Superintdent Jackie Sharp. "Many student address changes have not been updated in the Student Information System, which has caused a delay in issuing correct bus passes."
