Police Jury insurance hike in future

Employees of the Webster Parish Police Jury are going to see a hike in their insurance premiums in approximately six months.

The jury's Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance policy was renewed with a nine percent increase in health insurance premiums and a three and one-half percent increase in dental premiums, which is something Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance agent Jim Ritchie said is happening across the nation.
