Funeral services for Doris L. Allison will be held today (Monday July 11, 2011) at 2:30 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Minden. Officiating will be the Rev. Jim Crain. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sibley under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. The family received friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday July 10, 2011 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Doris was born Jan. 10, 1924 in Sibley and entered into rest July 8, 2011 in Bossier City.
Her husband, R. T. Allison; parents, Justin and Ovia Langford; and sisters, Geroline Burt and Myrtis Pepper preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Larry Allison and wife, Robin of Sibley and Randy C. Allison of Sibley; and grandson Justin Allison of Sibley.
Pallbearers will be Robert Pepper, Ben Pepper, Dale Edney, Buddy Merritt, Eddie Noles and Justin Allison.
