Adley’s bills benefit vets

A Constitutional amendment to provide eligibility for disabled veterans and their spouses for certain exemptions from ad valorem taxes is awaiting the stamp of approval from Senate Fiscal and Affairs.

Dist. 36 Sen. Robert Adley, R-Benton, introduced SB 96 after a Constitutional amendment was passed and voted in by voters last year to provide an additional $75,000 in homestead exemption to veterans with a service-connected disability rating of 100 percent by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs."
