Lakeside sweeps district games from Sterlington

SIBLEY—The Lakeside Warriors and Lady Warriors swept a pair of district games from Sterlington at home Friday night, with the Warriors taking a 56-52 win and the lady Warriors coming out on top, 30-24.

"It was a huge win for us," Warrior head coach Jason Gould said. "Sterlington had already won 19 games and are the favorite in our district. So this win will be big for us in the power points and it hopefully will keep us in the right direction after the debacle Tuesday night against Jonesboro."
