Tru Tone offers big city technology locally

Sam and Denise Moorhead have owned and operated Tru-Tone Hearing Aid Center in Minden and the Bossier Hearing Aid Center in Bossier for 27 years. In August of 2009, they opened an office in Homer.

They have taken the time to write a letter to current and any new customers.

"Since opening our offices, we have always made it a priority to provide quality products and services at affordable prices," Moorhead said. "We have hearing aides for every budget and financing to make it as easy as possible for someone who needs hearing help."

The Moorheads have the same technology and products advertised in Shreveport and Bossier.

"You don't have to drive to the big city and hassle with the traffic and parking," he said. "We offer all kinds of hearing products from testing, hearing aids, batteries, assistive listening devices, ear plugs, swim plugs and TV ears."

The Moorheads say it is a joy to see someone who has had difficulty understanding speech begin to get back to life.

"Hearing loss is subtle and you are usually the last to realize you are not hearing as well as you should," he said. "Hearing loss affects the people around you and your quality of life. Ignoring, waiting or putting off makes it much more difficult for your brain to adjust to hearing aids."

"Call or come by for an appointment," Moorhead said. "We'll treat you like we would want to be treated. We live here. You probably already know us. See our ad for locations and phone numbers."
