Time for tests

Summer exams will be administered next week to Webster Parish Students who qualify.

"Summer testing provides an other opportunity to meet graduation requirements," Secondary Supervisor Morris Busby said. "Students can also take the LEAP test to be eligible for grade promotion."

Busby said parents are responsible for making sure students are present and on time for testing, but that transportation by bus will be provided.

Buses will run the same route as last school year on testing dates and will follow the same pick-up schedule.

"Please be aware that if all students finish testing before the regular ending time of summer school, buses may drop students off earlier than on previous days," Busby said. "Be prepared for your child to arrive at bus stops earlier on these dates."

Busby suggests students attend summer education sessions and also suggests visiting www.louisianaschools.net, under the "testing" tab and look for pass brochures.
