Gladolia Mattingly Zachry, 90, of Centerpoint formerly of Hatton, Arkansas, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 in Centerpoint.
She was born June 10, 1922 in Provo, Arkansas to the late Leslie Mattingly and the late Clara Belle Weaver Mattingly.
She was united in marriage to the late William Harrie Zachry, Sr. She was a retail clerk for Beall's Department Store for many years and was also a member of the Presbyterian Church in Minden.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by sons, William Harrie "Bill" Zachry, Jr. of Minden and Adrian Zachry and wife, Kathy of Springdale, Arkansas; daughters, Gladdy Lou Melton and husband, Rusty of St. Francisville, Annette Simmons and husband, Jim of Alexandria and Jeanette Phillips of Austin, Texas; brothers, Burle Mattingly and wife, Ruth of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and Lesly Mattingly and wife, Frankie of Cabot, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Clara Mattingly; her husband, William Harrie Zachry, Sr.; a daughter, Ethel Belle Malone; and by several brothers and sisters.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 2 p.m. at McHorse Cemetery at Provo with the Rev. Burle Mattingly officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home.
Visitation for family and friends will be today (Tuesday, July 17) from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
