The Minden Crimson Tide took on the highly-rated Huntington Raiders Tuesday night, and played very well before losing 79-63.
Head coach Alan Shaw was pleased with his team's effort.
"I was really proud of the guys, because we competed all night," he said. "We were playing one of the top four or five teams in the state, and we were in the game the entire way. Our guys never quit, never gave up and played real intense all night. Besides winning the game, I couldn't have asked for more out of them or be more proud of them."
