BATON ROUGE (AP) — LSU 's Ralston Turner was named SEC Player of the Week for his efforts during a 2-0 week for the tiger basketball team.
Turner, a 6-6 guard from Muscle Shoals helped the Tigers to a huge upset with 22 points in a 67-58 victory over previously unbeaten and No. 10 Marquette. Turner sank four of five 3-point tries, including one with 2:23 left to give LSU the lead for good.
